She was predeceased by: her husband Willie Veracruz; her parents, Gabriel Trevino and Helen Trevino; and her sister Sarah Canales. She is survived by: her children, Elena Gamble (Alphonso), Bobby Veracruz, Dorothy Veracruz and Jordan Preston (Billy); her grandchildren, Addison Montgomery, Kristin Hinkley (Tague), Bill Preston and Gracie Preston; her great grandchildren, Rowan Rae, Karsyn Montgomery, Maddox Montgomery, William Hinkley and Kendall Hinkley; and her siblings, Orfilinda Lejia and Louis Trevino. She is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home (2525 N Main St, Belton, TX 76513). A rosary was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (210 E 24th Ave, Belton, TX 76513). A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the North Belton Cemetery (1500 N Main St, Belton, TX 76513).
