He is survived by: his wife Marcella Olivares Ruiz; his son Louis Jr. But; his granddaughter Rose Anna; his stepson Richard Suarez; his brother William Rosa; his children, Louis A. Ruiz Jr., Linda Ruiz McCall and Rose Ruiz Manning; his grandchildren, Jacqueline Marcella McCall, Angelina Michelle McCall, Alexandra Louise McCall, Susan Groeneveld and Robert Louis Ruiz; his great grandchildren, Stephen Paulsen, Kaiden Paulsen, Sophia Isabel Ruiz, Dominic Louis Ruiz, Lillian Louise Johnson and Antonio Lee Ruiz; and his cousin Rusty. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Temple, Texas, would be appreciated.
