She was predeceased by: her parents, Carrie Wilson and R. B. Wilson; her husband Robert Edward Benford; her children, Fred of Washington, Larry Benford and Saundra Ruth; her grandchildren, Montie and Deatra; and her siblings, Tim, Inetta, Annie Pearl, Fanorice, Margie and Dicey.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Benford of Temple, Rosalind McBride (Cleveland) and Kay Simpson (Hubert) of Temple. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
