Smith of Temple, Texas, born in Red Rock, Texas, who passed away on January 10, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Nolan and Dorothy "Dot"; her husband Gordon W. Smith; and her children, Janice Adeline Thomas and G. A. "Buddy" Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Sublette (James) of Tyler and Elaine Bigham (Larry) of San Marcos, Texas; and her son-in-law James Thomas of Temple, Texas. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Mrs. Smith's name to First Baptist Church of Academy, 304 N. State Hwy 95, Little River-Academy, Texas 76554.
