He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Johnson and Bertha Johnson; his wife Charlotte Shearin; his siblings, Denver Johnson of Perry, J. C. Johnson, Lula B. Moore, Rubye Simonton, Irene Johnson and Jean Johnson; and his grandson Christopher Wayne Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, John Johnson, Gary Johnson and Stephanie Hudson of Temple; and his grandchildren, Daniel Johnson of Temple, Kathryn Torres of Temple, Nicky Smith of Temple, Christopher Johnson of Temple and Luke Johnson of Temple.
