She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Pearl Emanuel and Connor Evans; her children, Susan White Degrate, Joey White and Lydia White-Baker; her husband Raymond White; her brothers, T. L. Shepard and Earnest Davis; and her grandson Xavier DeLawrence Baker.
She is survived by: her brother Ernest; and her children, Valery White-Lamar (Arthur) of Fayetteville and Michael White (Sherry) of Jacksonville, Florida. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
