She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Annie Bachhofer (Wren); and her husband John Matthews. She is survived by: her children, Tammie Frenzel (Terry) of Westphalia and David Matthews (Carrie) of Temple; and her grandchildren, Mark Frenzel (Leslie), Patrick Frenzel (Julianne), Hollie Matthews and Michael Matthews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or the Eldred's Nursery Foundation in Belton.
