He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara "Bobbie" Jackson (Waller) and J. W. "Jack" Jackson; and his parents-in-law, Nancy Newman Armstrong (Pittcock), James Newman and Herschel Armstrong.
He is survived by: his daughter Carman Wommack (Jackson); his son-in-law Jim; his son Tim Jackson of Mullin Texas; his grandchildren, Jordan Wommack of Marshall Texas, Carter Wommack and Hunter Jackson of Blackwell Texas; his brothers, John Jackson (Laura) of Hawkins Texas and Randy Jackson of Odessa Texas; and his brothers-in-law, Russel Newman (Tina) and Franklin Newman (Babette) of Melbourne Florida. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
