He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene "Pop" Pippins and Virginia Pippins (Jackson); and his siblings, Aubrey Pippins and Anita Mock. He is survived by: his wife Lydia Pippins; his children, Scott Pippins, Jerl (Antonia Pippins), Gidget (George Kline) and Monica (Chris Shaw); and his siblings, Odis (Mary Pippins) and Kathy (Grant Gulledge). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
