She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Cates and Mattie Irene Cates; her siblings, Elton Cates, Clara Mae Crye, Marcene Pollard and Doris East; and her son-in-law Keith Cunningham.
She is survived by: her sister Dixie Leathers; her children, Kenneth (Karla Golden), Kathy (Tommy Balentine), David (Renee Golden), Tricia Cunningham and Mike Golden; and her friends, Dale and Margie Pollard. She is also survived by Her family also included 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made in Mrs. Golden's name to Dawson Elementary.
