He was predeceased by: his mothers, Cara Crabtree and June Lykes Sr. Mr (Lykes); his sisters, Cara Lykes and Caralen Rose; his brother-in-law Harold Rose; and his son-in-law Larry Coats.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Lykes; his daughters, Lisa Coats and Laine Gage; his son-in-law Brian Gage; his grandchildren, Cara, Harper (Christopher Harper), Zachary Gage (Anna Gage), Jared Coats (Nicole Coats), Delainey McClay (Robert McClay) and Abigail Coats; and his niece Dyna Bailey (John Bailey).
