She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hickerson and Leticia Hickerson (Bates); her husband Joseph R. Burton; and her siblings, Robert L. Hickerson, John T. Hickerson, Mary F. Moore and Betty J. Boyd.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Robinson (Jimmy) and Sharon Neal; and her grandchildren, Keryl Green, Kyle Neal, Kayce Neal, Kim Layne and Brian Robinson. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
