He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Napoleon Leija and Aurora Resendez Leija; his wife Dominga Bocanegra Leija; his sons, Joe Leija of Belton and John Leija of Temple; and his siblings, Hijino Hernandez of Temple, Lupe Hernandez of Temple, Jesse Hernandez of Temple, Ricardo Hernandez of Temple, John Hernandez of Temple and Virginia Ortega of Temple. He was also cherished by six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
