He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hillary Brittain and Laura Louise Thorpe Brittain; and his brother George Brittain. He is survived by: his wife Ella Ruth Morgan; his children, Lane Scott (Marcia) of Fort Worth and Amanda Caroline Frye (Paul) of Adamsville; his sisters, Claire Smith of Temple, Tena Taylor of Belton and Judy Buckner of North Carolina; and his grandchildren, Megan Telfer, Dustin Scott, Zelda Frye, Leo Frye and Allura Frye. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
