It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Joe Pierce of Temple, Texas, born in Panna Maria, Texas, who passed away on August 19, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Hines and Sarah Jane Pierce (Brown). He is survived by: his wife Bertha Pierce; and his children, John Joe Pierce, Jr. (Sandy) of Moody, Michael Lee Pierce, Sr. (Norma Barnhart) of Hot Springs, Montana, Sharon Jolean Baker of Temple and Sarah Mae Cowen of Temple. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
