He is survived by: his wife Virgetta D. Harris of Temple; his children, DeQuinton McGinnis Pinchback of Temple, Gary Reeders of Temple, Mario Harris (Tracy) of Madison, Lache Seastrunk of Dallas, Roderick Reeders of Dallas, Cresa Jackson (Bobby) of Lawrenceburg, Freda Harris of Murfreesboro, Fphlonda Pinkerton (Bruce) of Murfreesboro and Linda Faye Gray of Nashville, Tennessee; and his siblings, Edward Harris of Nashville, Tennessee, Leroy Harris of Nashville, Tennessee and Irene Smith of Nashville. He is also survived by grandchildren, a great-grandchild, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Branford Dawson Funeral Home Inc. (718 S 7th St, Temple, TX 76504). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greater Zion Temple (808 E Central Ave, Temple, TX 76501). A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery (11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542).
