He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Johnson and Ruth Johnson; and his siblings, George Johnson, Thomas Johnson, Gilbert Johnson, Willie Johnson, James Johnson, Mary Johnson and Selma Johnson.
He is survived by: his daughter Debhorea Shelton of Temple, Texas; and his sister Ruth Johnson. He is also survived by two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
