It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Dixon of Temple, Texas, who passed away on August 24, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvis Dixon and Vida Dixon of Gatesville; and his son Michael Dixon of Dallas. He is survived by: his spouse Novie Jean Wall; his sons, Gerald Dixon of Temple and Gary Dixon (Renee) of Austin; his grandchildren, Jared, Justin and Shelby; and his siblings, Jackie of Gatesville, James Dixon of Gatesville, Birdie Faye Higgins of Comfort, TX and Patsy Ann Palmer of River Forest, IL.. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
