With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Olivarez of Temple, Texas, who passed away on December 27, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Shier and Elizabeth Shier (Hahn); her former husband Elias Olivarez; and her niece Karen Gagnon. She is survived by: her children, Mark Olivarez (Adrienne) of Temple and Melissa Middlebrook (David) of Temple; her grandchildren, Leslie Sullivan (Brick) of Temple, Andrew Olivarez (Destany) of Bonham, Jared Middlebrook, Jordan Middlebrook and Joshua Middlebrook of Temple; her brother Robert Shier (Marie) of London; her nephew Darrell Shier (Barb) of London, Ontario; and her niece Leanne Shier of London, Ontario. She is also survived by three great grandsons.
