He is survived by: his wife Freddie Mae McGhee of Temple; his children, Kenyatta Green of Jackson, Mississippi, Lucretia McKeitt of Williamsburg and Virginia; and his siblings, Johnie Edwards, James Edwards of Jackson, Mississippi and Ana Pearl Gardner of Vicksburg, Mississippi. He is also survived by five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
