He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Lee Kersey (Murphy) and Asa Kersey; his daughter Tammie Kelley Pennington; his granddaughter Sara Kersey; his sister Erma; and his brother-in-law James Degan.
He is survived by: his wife Pearlyne Kersey; his sons, Jeffrey Kersey (Belinda) of Belton and Michael Kersey (Bridget) of Joplin, Missouri; his grandchildren, Kendall Kersey (Megan) of Manhattan, Marnie Eckels of Carthage, Ryan Kersey of Philadelphia, Matthew Kelley (Crystal) of Bolivar and Kale Kersey of Temple; his great grandchildren, Kenley, Kannon, Graceson Kersey, Kaylin, Tyrion, Lena Kersey, Cecilia, Carlie, Cyrus, Letty, Landen Kelley, Sara and Bethany Eckels; his son-in-law Rick Pennington of Bolivar, Missouri; and his siblings-in-law, Roberta and Sam Phelps of Frederick, Oklahoma. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel (921 W Gladstone Ave, Frederick, OK 73542). A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Frederick Memorial Cemetery (18045 County Rd NS 220, Frederick, OK 73542).
