He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Moreno Hudgins; his children, Jennifer Hartnagle (Jonathan) and Ethan Hudgins (Kathleen); his stepchildren, Olivia Moreno, A. R. Moreno (Kate) and Travis Moreno; his grandchildren, Judah, Gideon, Elijah, Levi, Josiah, Zadok Hartnagle, Gerard, Hannah, Thomas Hudgins, Samuel and Luke Moreno; his parents, James Hudgins and Kathryn Hudgins; and his brothers, Billy Ray and Eddie Lee.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church of Temple.
