He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence James Sula and Wanona Schneider Sula. He is survived by: his wife Linda Allamon Sula; his son Robert Sula (Audra) of Salado; his granddaughters, Olivia, Lauren and Lindsay Sula of Salado; and his brother Wayne Sula (Diane) of Temple. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
