It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Chaffin of Temple, Texas, who passed away on November 6, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Byron Jr. and Virnelle Chaffin (Hodge); his stepmother Gladys Bloodworth; and his siblings, Wayne Chaffin and Madge Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Chaffin of Temple; his children, Amy Chaffin of Temple, Angela Chaffin Yoxtheimer (Matt) of Bellbrook, OH, Jason Chaffin Sr. of Tomball and John Chaffin (Laramie) of Holland; his brother Frank Chaffin (Paula) of Montgomery; and his grandchildren, Carolina Guthrie, Benton Yoxtheimer, Aislinn Chaffin, Jason Chaffin Jr., Pierce Chaffin and Jayci Chaffin. He is also survived by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the animal rescue center called Healing Heart Rehab (600 N. Hill St. Thornton, TX 76687).
