He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Hudson; his parents, Theodore S. and Gretchen Hudson Sr.; and his sisters, Pauline Steeby and Roxanne Hudson.

He is survived by: his children, Sandy Knight (Lawrence) of Harker Heights, Colin Hudson (Coyo) of Harker Heights and Jason Hudson (Rebecca) of Fort Worth; and his siblings, Harry Hudson (Carol) of California and Barbara Enos of Michigan. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
