It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Homer Sanders Whorton Jr. (Temple, Texas), born in Blooming Grove, Texas, who passed away on January 30, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Whorton and Corrine Whorton; and his grandparents, Lucy and Homer Whorton. He is survived by: his wife Lou Whorton of Frost; his sister-in-law Agnes Soukup Johnson of West; and his nieces and nephews, Thomas Tigner Sr, Dr. Andrew Johnson (Olga Johnson), Jane Parker Ivins (Gary), Kathleen Johnson Crockett (David), Tina Johnson Grant (Paul) and Lucy Johnson Medlenka (Mark). He is also survived by Numerous great nieces, nephews, great great nephews and special friend.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Blooming Grove Masonic Lodge Building Fund.
