He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hardy Delman Jr and Audrey Mae Beard (Graham); his sons, Hardy Beard IV of Temple and Charles Drake (Kayla) of Eddy; his siblings, Patricia Samford (Dennis) of Huntington, David Beard (Judy) of Lufkin, Phyllis Dooley of Ft. Worth and Deborah Briley (Gregg) of Nacogdoches; his close friend Donna Johnston of Temple; his grandchildren, Callie Beard of Texarkana, Charlie and Colton Drake of Eddy; and his great grandchild Lana Beard.
