With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Golden Nadine Burkes of Temple, Texas, who passed away on July 31, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Duff and Nellie Edwards Duff; and her spouse W. M. "Bill" Burkes. She is survived by: her children, Alan Duff Burkes (Brenda) and Dianne Burkes; her grandchildren, Bradley Alan Burkes (Jessica) and Alicia Dianne Low (TJ); her great grandchildren, Easton, Hudson and Reese; and her caregiver Angela Counts. She is also survived by her daughter, granddaughter, and her friends.
