He is survived by: his mother Jacqueline Nauert (Bradley); his wife Anita Nauert of Killeen; his daughters, Christina Hopson of Burnet, Nina Venus (Marcus) of Killeen and Ashley Valdez (Johnnie) of Killeen; his grandchildren, Braeden, Avery, Bry Hopson, Myles, Kora Venus and Emmarie Valdez; his siblings, John Wells (Betty) of Alaska, Kathy Bullara (Paul) of Florida, Dee Herndon (Danny) of Tennessee and David (Melanie) of Temple; his sister-in-law Marilyn Wells of Kempner; his aunt Sandra Springs of South Carolina; his godmother Linda Duncan of Copperas Cove; and his pet Banjo.
