He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Gillmeister and Paula Gillmeister; and his brothers, Herman Gillmeister, Louis Gillmeister, Fred Gillmeister, Leonard Gillmeister and Emil Gillmeister. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
