He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Johnson and Edna Moore Johnson; and his siblings, Amos Johnson, Julius Johnson, Mattie Johnson and Alma Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Hattie Jo Johnson of Temple; and his children, Garland Johnson of Temple, Rhonda Terry (James) of Temple, Tina Johnson of Temple, Brenda Beaudoin (Brian) of Temple and Latiesha Johnson of Temple. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
