With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary R. Bankston (Temple, Texas), born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on December 11, 2018 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Ronald Deever; and his parents, H. R. Bankston of San Antonio and Twyla Okey Bankston of San Antonio. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Chaffin Bankston; his children, John Bankston of Richmond, TX and Anna Bankston Fondren; and his granddaughter Sophia Fondren.
Memorial donations may be made to Kindred Hospice, Grace Presbyterian Church of Temple, or any organization that supports the natural settings and wildlife of Texas.
