It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Garland Bartek (Temple, Texas), who passed away on July 21, 2019, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Bartek and Lorene Bartek (Surovik); his brother Norman Bartek; and his grandson Joshua Culp. He is survived by: his wife Lillian Bartek of Temple; and his children, Damon Bartek, Kristen Culp of Heidenheimer and Shawn Fontz of Troy. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
