She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Stepan and Lydia Stepan (Schiller); and her husband Martin. She is survived by: her children, Martin Popelka (LaVerne), David Popelka (Rebe), Allen Popelka (Julie) and Margaret Wong (Patrick) of California; her grandchildren, Andrea Popelka Levrets (Reid) of Abilene, David Popelka (Shannon) of Allen, Katherine Kelly (Thom) of Grand Prairie, Matthew Wong of Chicago and Callie Wong of Milwaukee; her great grandchildren, Jackson Levrets, Rylee Levrets, Andrew Popelka, Luke Popelka, Ethan Popelka, Paul Kelly and Philip Kelly; and her sister Mabel Wernecke of Oregon. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
