Etta Tharp-Ibarra Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Etta Tharp-Ibarra (Temple, Texas), who passed away on June 3, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jefferson J. Green and Gyeulah B. Kiser; her husbands, Eugene "Gene" Tharp and Dr. Jesse D. Ibarra, Jr.; her brother Thomas Green; and her half-siblings, Arlis, Alton Green, Preble Paschal, Minnie Sloan, Lorene Reed and Mary Faye Mainord.

She is survived by: her children, Dr. D. Bruce Tharp (John-Carlos Estrada) and Lisa Ann Hill (Jeff Smith); her grandchildren, Ainsley Elizabeth Tharp of San Francisco, California and Carson Ross Tharp of Austin, Texas; her stepchildren, Patsy Britt of Belton, Beth Baetz of San Antonio, Texas and Jesse Daniel "Danny" Ibarra, III of San Antonio, Texas; and her stepgrandchildren, Chris Britt of Belton, Bert Baetz of Kerrville, J. D. Ibarra IV of San Antonio, Texas and Annamarie Falvo of San Antonio. She is also survived by her 12 step-great-grandchildren.
