It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Knox Sr. (Temple, Texas), who passed away on June 15, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sr. Knox and Savarah Knox; his wife Dorothy Chiles Knox; his siblings, Matthew Knox, James Knox, Jr., Gladys Williams, Katherine Stephen and Juanita Thomas; and his children, Ernest Knox, Jr. and Pamela Michelle Knox.
He is survived by: his children, Aldo Knox of Houston, Texas and Debra Byerly-Knox of Temple, Texas; his siblings, Clarissa Samuel, Archie Knox (Jimmy) of Temple, Texas and Curtis Knox of Temple, Texas; his granddaughters, Riana Brooks of Houston, Azzie Knox of Temple, Dorothy Knox (Joshua Hancock) of North Pole, Alaina Saulsberry (Josh) of Houston and Pamela Knox of Nolanville, Texas; and his sister-in-law Lena Mae Williams. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
