She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lonnie Johnson and Willie E. Johnson; her siblings, Clarence Briscoe, James Johnson, Willie Mae Betters, Mattie Ray Price, Ester Guice, Ora Oliver, Dorothy Johnson and Lois Strickland; her granddaughter Deandra Ranora Johnson; her children, Benny Ray Clark of Henderson, Billy Clark of Dallas, Diane Clark of Dallas and Sandra Kay Clark of Balch Springs, Texas; and her grandchildren, Cory Johnson of Dallas, Sandra K. Clark and Tamara Clark of Henderson. She was also cherished by three great grandchildren two great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
She began collecting dimes which were donated to Peaceful Rest Mission yearly for over 30 years. She was determined to increase the amount of her donation each year by gently persuading her family members to surrender their dimes.
