He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Thomas of Temple, Texas; his sons, Melvin Thomas of Harker Heights, Dennis Thomas (LaShirle) of Temple and Danny Thomas of Temple; and his siblings, Jim Thomas of Victorville, California, Georgia Sauls of Temple, Faye Richardson of Austin and Nettie McCraney of Albuquerque. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
