She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Emil Michalka and Mary Michalka of Cameron, Texas.; her husband Joe Simecek; her children, Pat Simecek of Temple, Robert Simecek of Temple, Eileen St (Harold) and Nancy Mesecke (Dewayne) of Zabcikville; her grandchildren, Amanda Bedrich (Jason) of Rogers, Anthony St (Becky), Melissa Mesecke of Temple, Matthew Mesecke of Temple and Megan Henderson (Tim) of Houston; her great grandchildren, Logan Schuetze of Rogers, Kylie Bedrich of Rogers and Tucker Henderson of Houston; and her sister Alma Simecek of Cameron.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, 1018 S. 7th Street in Temple or to Scott & White Cancer Center, 2401 S. 31st Street in Temple.
