She was predeceased by: her parents, R. T. McFerrin and Ruth Butterfield McFerrin; her significant other Paul Lambert; and her siblings, Robert McFerrin, Lewis McFerrin, R. T. McFerrin, Jr. and Betty McFerrin Jett.

She is survived by: her children, Cim Lambert Owens (Asa) and Terry Lambert (JoAnne Nelson Lambert); her grandchildren, Aric Owens and Gaeric Lambert; her great grandchildren, Everett Furr and Wade Paul Owens; and her sisters, Naomi McFerrin Van Noy (Bob), Sandra McFerrin Kohring (Lloyd) and Kathryn McFerrin Carter. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
