He is survived by: his wife Renate Weems of Temple; his children, Sonja Shaffell of Killeen and Robert Weems of Temple; his granddaughter Sharon Redmond of Fort Worth; his great grandchild Dannielle Wright of Dallas; his great great grandchild Amara Guerrero of Dallas; and his brother Gary Weems of Oregon.
