He is survived by: his wife Martha Abercrombie of Harker Heights, Texas; his children, Rodrick Abercrombie of Temple, Texas and Bryanna Hinojosa of Harker Heights, Texas; and his siblings, Bertice Abercrombie, Jr. of Oklahoma City, Sid Taplin (Rose) of Houston, David Freeman (Linda) of Fort Worth, Willie Freeman of Fort Worth, Texas, Mathis Freeman of Fort Worth, Texas, Emma Abercrombie Payne of Round Rock, Eleanor Abercrombie Haynes of Temple, Ruby Taplin of Brenham, Willie Mae August of Houston, Linda Taplin of Houston, Brenda Johnson of Houston, Marian Wilson of Belton, Zakiya Kangethe of Washington, Norris Soders and Bertha Freeman of Fort Worth. He is also survived by cousins, family, and friends.
