She was predeceased by: her parents, David Earl and Lillie Coleman (Perkins); her spouse Verdie Byrd; her grandson Vince; and her siblings, Bill Coleman, Joyce Evelyn, Lois Rowan, David Coleman and Lorine Benton.

She is survived by: her children, Harold Byrd (Jane) of Kempner, Janice Haas (William) of Belton, Frances Daniels of Temple and Rebecca Zahn (Cord) of Temple, Texas; her grandchildren, Patrick, Kimberly, Amanda, Kayla, Eric, Jessica and Colton; her great grandchildren, Ethan, Emily, Liam, Patrick, Laney, Bodie and Jayla; and her sister Edna Moseley.
