With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Thorne (Temple, Texas), born in Cameron, Texas, who passed away on April 21, 2021 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Katie Mackey and J. L. Ferrow; her son William Brooks; and her brothers, Dennis Ferrow and James Ferrow.

She is survived by: her sons, Nathaniel Brooks (Clarvita) of Round Rock and David Earl Brooks (Carol) of Temple, Texas; her siblings, Ernestine Wilkinson of Temple, TX and Johnny Ferrow of Paramount; and also Leslie C. Dunn (Patricia) of Round Rock, Texas. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
