Doris touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Sims and Evalena Sims (Blevins); her son Donald Koch; and her brother Marvin W. Sims. She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Powell and Carolee Couch; and her grandchildren, Sandra Young, Amber Renes, Jacob Wheatley, Lesleigh Reynolds, Mackensie Torres, Jocelyn Couch, Kelsey Bridger, Shannon Loose, Dean Harnes and Jordan Powell. She is also survived by her 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home (3110 Airport Rd, Temple, TX 76504). A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
