It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dennis Paul Howell Sr. (Temple, Texas), born in Fort Benning, Georgia, who passed away on November 11, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Howell and Charles Ray Howell; his stepfather Linwood "Boogie" Meissner; his sister Ginger Cooksey; and his grandson Angel Howell.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Howell of Luke's Catholic Church; his sons, Paul (Christi Howell) and Brent (Amber Howell); his grandchild Ashley Howell of Belton; his daughters-in-law, Ridge Howell (Luke Howell) of Lorena, Lindsey Howell (Hunter Myers) of Academy and Keller Myers of Belton; and his great grandchildren, Evangeline and Timothy Howell of Belton.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home (3110 Airport Rd, Temple, TX 76504). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Bellwood Memorial Park (8575 Airport Rd, Temple, TX 76502).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Dennis' honor to the American Cancer Society or your favorite charity.
