She was predeceased by: her parents, Theron Turner and Effie Turner (Brown); her husband John Lewis; and her brothers, William Turner and Bobby Turner.

She is survived by: her daughter Tissy Machuca (John Paul); her siblings, Carl Turner, Irene Hall, Beti Mentola, Charlotte Brown and Dorothy Turner; and her grandchildren, Christian, Aja, Jeremiah and Peyton.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Harper-Talasek Funeral Home (500 W Barton Ave, Temple, TX 76501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
