He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Mengers and Alma Mengers. He is survived by: his wife Sue Mengers of Temple; his children, Shelley Carter of Austin, Blane Walker of Temple and Kyle Walker of Temple; his grandchildren, Grant Carter of Austin, Lindsay Firth of Austin, Megan Jurca of Temple, Haley Adams of Temple and Ryan Walker of Temple; and his great grandchildren, Jesslyn Jurca of Temple, Dillon Jurca of Temple and Emma Adams of Temple. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials to Taylor's Valley Baptist Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
