It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Iretha Ward (Temple, Texas), who passed away on February 16, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest B. Norvell and Ilevia Green; her husband Edward Newton Ward; and her daughters, Iretha Gardner and Stephanie Harvey.
She is survived by: her children, Guy Ward of Temple, Kenneth Ward of Temple and Debra Ward Fox of Copperas Cove; and her siblings, Robert Norvell of Cameron, Arlelia Crooks of Temple, Barbara Stokes of Temple and Gwendolyn West of Indiana, Indianapolis. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
