He was predeceased by: his siblings, Gladine Williams Chapman, Ivera Mae Ward, Manuel James Williams, Sammie Williams and Richard Glen Chestnut.
He is survived by: his son Howard Thomas of Temple; and his siblings, Ira Lee Chestnut, Rickey Lynn Chestnut of Temple, Julia Mae Robinson of Killeen and Jimmie Evelyn Smith of Pendleton. He is also survived by two grandchildren and one great-grandson; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
